Abundance Change of Antibiotic Resistance Genes during PDWW recycling and Correlation with Environmental Factors

Antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) are present in different treatment units of sewage treatment plants. Aromatic compounds in printing and dyeing wastewater will promote the transfer of ARGs. Printing and dyeing wastewater (PPDW) has been widely used in production for in-situ recycling, but the effects of enrichment of pollutants and changes in microbial communities on ARGs have not been reported. In this study, high-throughput and 16SrDNA gene sequencing technology were used to study the changes in ARGs and microbial communities during PPDW recycling.
