Hidden Dimensions of Poverty Dataset (HDD)

The Hidden Dimensions of Poverty Dataset (HDD) is a global time-series dataset linking environment and natural resource (ENR) measures to poverty and other human development indicators at the subnational level. The ENR indicators contain measures pertaining to the Brown, Green, and Blue business lines of the World Bank’s Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice, as well as other geographical variables. The poverty measures contain monetary and asset-based poverty indicators, as well as measures closely correlated with poverty such as children’s health and GDP.
