Owing to the widespread use of chemical pesticides to control agricultural pests, pesticide resistance has become a serious problem. Symbiotic bacteria are associated with insecticide resistance. In this study, to investigate the potential role of microorganisms in the pesticide resistance of Chilo suppressalis, the insect was fed with tetracycline and cefixime in the treatment groups (TET and CFM, respectively) and without antibiotics as the control group (CK). The different microbiomes of C. suppressalis fed on different artificial diets were used to study the relationship between microbiomes and insecticide resistance. The 16S rDNA sequencing results showed that antibiotics reduced the diversity of C. suppressalis symbiotic microorganisms,
