A Comprehensive Dataset of EEG Recordings Capturing Student Stress Responses During Exams

This dataset contains EEG recordings from students collected during an exam setting using the Muse 2 EEG headband. The data captures brainwave frequencies across Delta, Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma bands, providing timestamped recordings taken throughout the exam. The recordings are available in both raw and processed forms, with the processed data cleaned for artifacts and normalized for consistency. This dataset enables the analysis of EEG patterns in academic contexts, focusing on neural activity during the exam rather than pre- or post-exam comparisons or stress level derivation. Data were obtained from 26 participants (19 females, 7 males; mean age: 21.23 ± 1.14) utilizing the Muse headband
