The Radomaniola Dataset

The Radomaniola Dataset This dataset contains data on 697 specimens distributed across 20 species of the genus Radomaniola (Gastropoda: Hydrbiidae), collected between 2000 and 2018 in springs in the balkans. The dataset includes three modalities: images, numerical features, and matrix of phylogenetic distances of the different species. Images are available as both original high quality image (images/ directory) and in a processed version where the background was removed, the image was cropped to contain only the specimen, and the orientation of all specimens was standardized (cropped/ directory). Images under cropped/ were manually created from the original images with use of the software Smart Focus. Numerical features are in file Radomaniola_ValuesTotal.xlsx.
