A defective copy of the same.

This copy of Masîḥ’s dîwân is incomplete both at the beginning and end; it only contains ghazals in alphabetical order, agreeing upon the whole with those in the preceding copy. It opens, on fol.3a (where another hand has added ديوان مسيح), with the last bait of a ghazal rhyming in l, viz. هر زخم سينه ام دهنى گشت اى مسيح الخ, and corresponding to fol. 3a, l. 10 in the preceding copy; it breaks off in the second ghazal rhyming in ى (=fol. 137a, l. 3 in the preceding copy). There are, consequently, wanting in this copy some ghazals in ا and ی, the ḳiṭ’as. Rubâ’îs, and ḳaṣîdas. On the other hand the number of ghazals is apparently larger than in the preceding copy.

Ff. 1-22 are misplaced; their proper order is: 3, 1, 2, 4-15, 17, 16, 18, 19, 21, 20, 22.
