Use of on-demand digital services, adoption factors, and perceptions of time
收藏资源简介:
On-demand digital services offer fast fulfilment of various products and services through digital technologies. This business model has spread across media, mobility, food, grocery, and retail, attracting millions of consumers to services such as Netflix, Uber, Deliveroo, and Amazon Prime. The expansion of such services is transforming the consumption experience with significant social and environmental implications. This repository contains raw data from a cross-sectional survey with UK residents (n=1,512) that investigated people’s use and adoption of various on-demand digital services. The survey compared adopters and non-adopters of three popular on-demand digital services: online food delivery, next day delivery retail, and ride-hailing. The survey included questions around innovation attributes, perceptions of time (pace of life and time scarcity), impulse buying, attitudes towards digital technology, digital services use, and contextual sociodemographic factors.
