Bulk RNAseq from in vitro derived neutrophils

Neutrophils are key players in innate immunity, but their functional diversity across tissues and diseases is not fully understood. Mucosal diseases like inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) exhibit strong neutrophilic inflammation, offering insight into conserved neutrophil programs. Integrating scRNA-seq data from IBD and COPD revealed shared transcriptional signatures, notably the type I interferon (IFN) pathway. To explore this further, we developed an in vitro system that differentiates CD34 progenitors into neutrophils, mimicking essential traits.
