Bovine exome with UTRs

The aim of the project is searching for polymorphisms in 3'UTR sequences and analyzing expression profiles of candidate genes for cattle production traits. The study explores the possibility that the polymorphisms placed in potential binding sites for regulatory miRNA molecules can change miRNA binding capacity and, therefore, influence on expression of target genes. Library preparation and sequencing experiment were performed in the Department of Medical Genetics at the Medical University of Warsaw, by Marta Dux and Michal Miller in collaboration with team of prof. Rafal Ploski, Malgorzata Rydzanicz, PD and Joanna Kosinska, PhD. This research was supported by the National Science Centre - Project No: 2014/13/B/NZ9/02509.
