Application of association in the quality control process of hydro-meteorological data

The hydro-meteorological data in ocean environmental observation provide important basic information, which can scientifically reflect the basic situation of the ocean environment. However, in the actual observation process, a series of incidental factors may have an impact on the observation results, leading to abnormal data. Implementing accurate and effective quality control of these data is one of the major challenges faced by ocean workers. On the basis of previous quality control, this article focuses on the association between ocean observation elements for quality control, and according to the association of different ocean elements, divides the associated quality control into algorithmic associated quality control and natural associated quality control. The article conducted associated quality control on some ocean observation elements with significant association, and the results showed that associated quality control can more effectively detect abnormal data and avoid accidental deletion of normal data, and it would provide a reliable quality control method for ocean observation data.
