资源简介:
The Rinjani Scops-owl Otus jolandae is a species of owl (Family Strigidae) endemic to Lombok Island, Indonesia (Figure 1). The owl was formally described in 2013 and was proposed as a new species of owl due to its distinctive morphometric and acoustic differences compared to its first type, the Moluccan Scops-Owl Otus magicus (Sangster et al., 2013). This owl species was last evaluated for the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species in 2017 and categorised as Near Threatened under criterion C2a(ii). This project generates genomic resources for the Rinjani Scops Owl (Otus jolandae), found at -8.46708; 116.06101 (390 m a.s.l.). We sequence and assemble mitochondrial DNA data (complete mitochondrial genome and/or mitochondrial markers) from voucher-referenced specimens to support species identification, phylogeographic inference, and comparative analyses within Strigidae.
