Children’s safety in the digital environment survey, Moldova 2024

The study includes children ages 10-17 years as follows: children in gymnasium (grades 5-9), high schools (grade 10-11) and grades 1-2 in professional (vocational)schools. The sample is not representative; the study was focused on vulnerable children. The aim of the research was to comprehensively understand how children, especially vulnerable children, access and use the Internet, their knowledge and practices in the digital environment, their experiences, their risk factors, and protective factors (based on evidence) that would allow improving ways to promote safety of children in the digital environment.
