资源简介:
Abstract: This dataset contains sedimentological, radioisotope, and organic geochemical data from a sediment core collected from the continental shelf in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico. The core was collected from a mid-sehlf mud deposit in a feature called the Texas Mud Blanket. The purpose of this data was to identify a recent event depoist in the sediment associated with floodign on the nearby Brazos River. The core was collected in 17 m water depths in the summer of 2016 following elevated disharge on the Brazos that extended back to Fall 2015. The core was colleced using a box core, and is 34 cm in length. The data include grain size data, bulk density, 7Be and 210Pb activities, bulk orgainc geochemical data, and lignin biomarker data.
