Drivers of Plant Community Assembly on Reclamation site , Fort McMurry, AB, Canada, 2020-06-30

This dataset was used to determine the influence of various assembly mechanisms on establishing a plant community following oil sands mining reclamation over time and on various soil types. All transect years data set is comprised of percent cover of functional groups and dispersal mechanisms of native forbs in 2016 and 2019 on different distances along a transect that expands over two soil types. Seed rain and seed bank datasets are the numbers of seeds germinated within the seed bank or seed traps. The aboveground community dataset looks at the occurrence of species found in the seed bank, seed rain, and within the transects in 2016 and 2019.
