In our study we analyzed the human intestinal microbiome of 40 adults. The goal of the study was to analyze the immunophenotype and link this the the composition of the intestinal microbiome. The immunophenotype was determined by flow cytometric analysis of T and B cells in peripheral blood samples. Furthermore IgA reactivity was determined.
