The seminar brings together scientists who have Svalbard and Ny-Ålesund (78°55’N, 11°56’E) in particular as a base for their research and monitoring activities. The aim of the meeting is to exchange scientific results, advancements, ideas and experiences to inspire each other and develop Ny-Ålesund further.The seminar wants to foster the following topics: Flagship programs, SSF funded projects, Implementation of Ny-Ålesund monitoring activities, NySMAC and SIOS: Status and future developments.<br>
