This collection comprises a database and related documents containing details of all Iron Age and Roman brooches analysed by the late Don Mackreth and synthesised in his seminal work, Brooches in Iron age and Roman Britain, published in 2011 by Oxbow Books, which is long out of print. The database and associated files were originally contained on a CD included with this publication. In 2023 Oxbow Books has reissued the book in paperback without the CD, the contents of which are included here with free access.
