COVID Future Wave 1 Survey Data v0.9.0

<p>COVID-19 and the Future Study data, version 0.9.0, generated December 1, 2020. This version of the data has 8,723 responses. The survey was done in two parts, an initial unfunded sample collected by Arizona State University (ASU), referred to as Wave 1A, and a later nationally-representative sample collected by ASU and the University of Illinois at Chicago funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF), referred to as Wave 1B. Wave 1B also includes convenience sample respondents recruited after late June 2020. Some changes to the survey were made based on the results from the original ASU survey before this nationally-representative deployment. Variables ending in _w1a are available in only the ASU initial sample. Variables ending in _w1b are available only in the nationally-representative sample. Variables ending in _harm were
asked in both surveys, but in slightly different ways, and have been harmonized (the harmonization procedure is described with each variable in the codebook). Finally, variables with no suffix were present and asked the same way in both surveys.
