The project investigated the resilience of the soil bacterial community after the re-cultivation of a former lignite mine. The samples stem from the orignal soil prior to mining activities, and a 54 y chronosequence after re-cultivation. We sampled a total of 10 sites with 4 pseudo-replicates each.
