Data and R Code for: "Assessing the net-climate benefits of improved grazing intensity in global rangelands"
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the R scripts, input data, intermediate outputs, and final map products underlying the manuscript "Assessing the net-climate benefits of improved grazing intensity in global rangelands". The dataset is organized into empirical analysis scripts (Scripts_1), preprocessing and simulation scripts (Scripts_2), net-emissions and sensitivity-analysis scripts (Scripts_3), raw and derived inputs (Data/Inputs), intermediate model outputs (Data/Outputs), and primary publication-ready raster outputs (Data/map_outputs_rasters). Inputs include empirical soil organic carbon and biomass response data, global soil, climate, vegetation, livestock, and feed datasets. Outputs include raster stacks and tabular summaries for relative stocking density (grazing intensity), forage demand, gross energy demand, soil organic carbon change, plant biomass carbon change, livestock methane and nitrous oxide emissions, feed-supplementation emissions, net CO2-equivalent emissions, and uncertainty metrics across model iterations. These files can be reused to reproduce the published workflow, inspect assumptions, compare alternative grazing and feed scenarios, or combine the spatial layers with other rangeland, livestock, or carbon-cycle analyses. Users should cite the original third-party data sources and respect their licenses; some external data are referenced rather than redistributed (with links to open-access sources) because of size and license constraints.
