The Department of Business and Innovation is Victoria's lead economic\ndevelopment agency and provides the interface between government and the\nbusiness community, playing a major role in developing and implementing\npolicies that create investment, exports and jobs for the State. It aims to\nhelp grow Victoria's diverse and vibrant economy by supporting pro-business\npolicies and programs and the development of innovative industries by engaging\nwith businesses large and small and representing their needs to government at\nall levels. \n \nThe Department's services are delivered through six outputs encompassing\nEmployment and Industrial Relations, Tourism and Marketing, Innovation and\nTechnology, Investment Attraction, Facilitation and Major Projects, Trade and\nExport Facilitation and Small Business Assistance.
