资源简介:
* Sample Description: Twenty five subjects (9 women and 21 men) aged between 19-24 years were stimulated with three different personalized binaural beats (BB): theta BB, alpha BB, and beta BB. The participants reported no musical experience, no neurological disease, and no hearing impariment. * EEG Recordings: EEG data were taken from 24 channels, with M1 and M2 as references and FCz as ground. Sample rate was 250 Hz. * Data Description: The EEG recordings were collected in four sessions: - Session 1: resting state -> 3 min with eyes closed and no task (25 .gdf files). - Session 2: BB stimulation -> 25 min with eyes closed, while listening to theta BB (25 .gdf files). - Session 3: BB stimulation -> 25 min with eyes closed, while listening to beta BB (25 .gdf files). - Session 4: BB stimulation -> 25 min with eyes closed, while listening to alpha BB (3 .gdf files). Session 1 and 2 were performed in the same day. Session 3 and 4 were carried out in different days, based on participant availability. For BB stimulation sessions, the EEG data from 0-20 min corresponds to neural activity when participants were just listening to personalized BB in order to induce brain entrainment. After that, an oddball paradigm was carried out where standard (240 pure tones of 1 kHz ) and deviant (60 pure tones of 2 kHz) auditory pitches were presented. * All sounds were supplied through open back headphones. * BB design: Personalized theta BB, beta BB, and alpha BB were designed according to Brain-Body Coupling Theorem from Klimesch [1,2] , who established that brainwaves and other body oscillations are coupled among them at rest. * Both personalized BB and pure tones were created with a sample rate of 44100 Hz. * .txt files for channels list are provided: - 24 channels list - 22 referenced-channels list References: [1] Klimesch, Wolfgang. 2013.
