Data and code for: Quantifying the shape of empty space — a topological data analysis approach to detecting and measuring bounded archaeological structures

This deposit contains the digitised point coordinates, the Monte Carlo null and simulation realisations, and the analysis code reproducing every number reported in the manuscript. All coordinates were digitised by the author from openly accessible published plans: Sensburg (2007) via Propylaeum (DOI 10.11588/propylaeum.1455, CC BY-NC-SA 4.0); Olive et al. (2019) via OpenEdition; Leroi-Gourhan and Brézillon (1966) via Persée (DOI 10.3406/galip.1966.1264); Wessex Archaeology (2013) via the Archaeology Data Service; Nanjing Museum et al. (2015, fig. 22) through CNKI. Full references are given in the manuscript. The digitised datasets are evaluation corpora assembled from published sources, not the excavation archives; the underlying excavation data belong to the original excavating institutions.
