NMT inhibition in the context of MYC levels

Characterisation of the impact of 24 hours of NMT inhibition (100 nM IMP1088) on the P493-6 cell line with medium levels of MYC and high levels of MYC. Overall design: The different levels of MYC were induced 24 hours prior to the experiment, according to literature procedure (high: normal DMEM media; medium: DMEM with 0.1 ug/mL doxycycline and 1 uM of beta-estradiol). Subsequently 100 nM of the NMT inhibitor IMP1088 or a DMSO control were added to the cells for 24 hours and then cells were lysed for further RNA extraction.
