This dataset contains precipitation data for the Loess Plateau, with a total of 75 maps. These maps cover: contour maps of annual average precipitation, maximum annual precipitation, minimum annual precipitation, annual average precipitation days, maximum annual precipitation days, minimum annual precipitation days, and the coefficient of variation (CV) of annual precipitation days; contour maps of monthly precipitation and monthly precipitation days; contour maps of seasonal and flood-season precipitation and precipitation days; contour maps of annual precipitation of different magnitudes and their corresponding annual average precipitation days; contour maps of the CV of annual precipitation days for different precipitation magnitudes; contour maps of maximum precipitation across various short-term historical periods; and contour maps of maximum precipitation across various long-term historical periods. This dataset is sourced from the monograph *Rainfall Erosion, Sediment Yield, and Sediment Reduction via Soil and Water Conservation on the Loess Plateau*, compiled by Wang Wanzhong et al. and published by Science Press. This data can be used as a reference for relevant research, teaching activities, and managers at all levels in the fields of hydrology, water conservancy, soil and water conservation, ecology, environment, agriculture, land consolidation and other related areas.
