资源简介:
Data on confidence in using and returning the FIT, understanding of risks of CRC and reasoning for being chosen to complete FIT. There has been a steady decline in the uptake of Bowel cancer screening in the UK. Previous literature has shown that educational intervention can significantly increase health-service engagement. We set up a drop-in information session about Bowel cancer at a west London GP surgery with the aim of encouraging participation in Bowel Cancer screening. We collected data to assess whether educational intervention would improve confidence in ‘using’ and ‘returning’ the faecal immunochemical test, and whether more people understood why they were chosen to provide a stool sample.
