Dataset on the Etiological Characterization of Acute Diarrheal Disease Cases in Paraguay, 2024–2025

This dataset contains anonymized microbiological and epidemiological data from acute diarrheal disease (ADD) cases collected in Paraguay between 2024 and 2025. The dataset includes laboratory-confirmed enteric pathogens identified from stool specimens processed through the national surveillance system. Variables include sample identification codes, year of collection, patient demographic characteristics (when available), detected pathogen, laboratory results, and other metadata supporting the analyses presented in the associated scientific publication. Personal identifiers have been removed to ensure participant confidentiality. This dataset is intended to promote transparency, reproducibility, and data reuse in research on diarrheal diseases and public health surveillance.
