资源简介:
Tisochrysis lutea is a widely used microalgae. This species produces a high-value pigment named fucoxanthin, which has many properties as anti-cancer, anti-ixydant, anti-diabetes. This pigment is of a great interest in pharmacology and aquaculture. In the chloroplasts of Tisochrysis lutea, the fucoxanthin is bound to a protein called FCP. Together, they form the light-harvesting antenna which is a key element in the photosynthesis. We characterized for the first time the FCP in Tisochrysis lutea. As nitrogen and light intensity are two main parameters influencing the photosynthesis, of which the light-harvesting antenna is part, we studied the transcripts level of the 52 genes constituting the FCP while varying these parameters. This works allows to better understand the light-harvesting process in Tisochrysis lutea and to further better anticipate the fucoxanthin production.
