Speaking time of candidates of the French presidential elections at BFM-TV 2022

In April 2022, the French presidential elections will be held to decide who will govern the country for the coming five years. Prior to the elections, all television and radio channels are ordered to track and reveal the speaking times of each preisdential candidate. The current president of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron (En Marche), had the most speaking time of all candidates at BFM-TV with 7 hours and 38 minutes during the measured period. In second and third position with 5 hours 16 minutes and 4 hours 43 minutes are Valérie Pécresse (Les Républicains) and Marine Le Pen (Rassemblement National). These three are also leading the speaking times at all the media, including TV channel TF1 and radio channel France Inter, with Le Pen and Pécresse fighting for the second position.
