Isolated from the nasopharynx of a healthy child. Haemophilus influenzae 22.4-21

Haemophilus influenzae 22.4-21. Strain 22.4-21 is a non-typeable Haemophilus influenzae (NTHi) isolate provided by Dr. Janet Gilsdorf. This commensal isolate and Haemophilus influenzae strain 22.1-21 were both recovered from the nasopharynx of the same healthy child. These strains exhibit previously described sequence types (22.1-21 is ST176 and 22.4-21 is ST165). Sequenced and assembled using technology developed by 454 Life Sciences, Inc. (www.454.com). The genome sequence is currently comprised of 51 contigs, and has been sequenced to a depth of 25X.
