Model simulation data used in "Aviation soot interactions with natural cirrus clouds are unlikely to have a significant impact on global climate" (Righi et al., Atmos. Chem. Phys., 2025)
收藏资源简介:
EMAC model simulation data used in Righi et al. (2025). Naming convention [experiment]_[start-date]-[end-date]_[channel].nc List of the experiments: REF: reference experiment NOBGSOOT: like REF, but neglecting the impact of background soot in cirrus NOBGSOOT+DUST5: like NOBGSOOT, butreducing the active fraction of mineral dust by a factor 5 NOBGSOOT+DUST10: like NOBGSOOT, butreducing the active fraction of mineral dust by a factor 10 NOBGSOOT+AMSU: like NOBGSOOT, but considering crystalline ammonium sulfate as additional ice nucleating particle For all experiments, a corresponding baseline (BASE) experiment neglecting the impact of aviation soot on cirrus clouds is included. List of the channels: cirrus: ice crystal number concentration for each INP type cloud: cloud cover, ice water content, specific humidity grid_def: grid-box volume radiation: short/longwave, allsky/clearsky radiation fluxes at top-of-the-atmosphere All channels also include the surface pressure to allow interpolation from model hybrid levels to pressure levels. Other information can be found in the NetCDF metadata.
