资源简介:
This report presents a study aiming to develop and standardize in a Greek-Cypriot sample a set of film-clips able to induce different types of emotions. The study is a part of a larger project investigating emotion response coherence, thus its purpose is to aid the selection of the most appropriate film-clips to induce positive, negative or neutral emotions at the lab under controlled experimental conditions. Twelve film-clips were selected from existing film-clip databases and previous studies and were edited to have similar length (2min). A sample of 53 young adults rated the valence and arousal they felt for each clip. These ratings were used to select 6 film-clips (2 positive, 2 neutral, 2 negative) for the main study of the project. The perceived valence of the clips did not differ among genders, although women reported more arousal for all film clips than men. Familiarity with the film had no effect on affective ratings for any of the film clips. unknown
