This study employed metagenomic sequencing to investigate the effects of temperature stress (20C, 26C, 32C) and the addition of the carotenoid-producing bacterium Flagellimonas marinaquae ( Ma strain) on the phycosphere microbial community structure of the symbiotic dinoflagellate Cladocopium C1. Samples were collected from the phycosphere environment of laboratory-based in vitro algal-bacterial co-cultures. The research aims to elucidate the mechanisms of algae-bacteria interactions, specifically how the exogenous probiotic bacterium Ma modulates microbiome function to enhance algal antioxidant capacity and thermal adaptability. The experimental design includes triple biological replicates for both treatment and control groups across different temperature conditions.
