the Cox-1 alignment and the generated trees in Newick format

This repository contains a set of phylogenetic trees of the mitochondrial COX1 gene (cytochrome c oxidase subunit I) generated from sequences from different ant species from Algeria and GenBank. The trees are provided in Newick format (.nwk / .newick) and can be used for phylogenetic analyses, molecular barcoding, interspecific comparison, or evolutionary reconstruction.
