资源简介:
Following its first release on GitHub and Zenodo, the materials in this repository are licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0.This repository contains a database of the wordlist and linguistic expressions in Nias as presented in Stokhof and Almanar's (1987) "Holle lists: Vocabularies in languages of Indonesia, Vol. 10/3: Islands off the west coast of Sumatra". Originally, the Nias wordlist and expressions in Stokhof & Almanar (1987) were not published together with the corresponding translations in Dutch, English, and Indonesian/Malay, but instead appeared in a separate publication (Stokhof 1980; Rajeg 2023). Their correspondences are identified via index numbers. In this repository, they are linked into multilingual wordlist and database of linguistic expressions as part of student group project in the Lexicology and Lexicography course (2024) for the introduction of the WeSay software for building a dictionary. The manually entered words and expressions, along with their translations, were subsequently verified and corrected. The R processing code for this language is available from the main GitHub repository of the Barrier Islands Languages Holle List (Rajeg & Arka 2024). The combined wordlist and linguistic expressions, together with their translations are searchable on GitHub. Refer to the GitHub README for further information and to the Releases page for updates. The digitisation of the Holle List for the Barrier Islands Languages, Sumatra, Indonesia began as part of the AHRC-funded research to develop lexical resources for Enggano, another member of the Barrier Islands Languages. This work has now been integrated into the ARC-funded research on the Languages of the Barrier Islands, Sumatra, Indonesia.
