NRS-20155 | Minutes of Board of Directors meetings [Queen Victoria Sanatorium Wentworth Falls and Thirlmere]

This series consists of three volumes detailing the minutes of monthly meetings of the Queen Victoria Homes Board of Directors for both the Wentworth Falls and Thirlmere tuberculosis sanatoriums.Meetings of the Board of Directors for the Thirlmere and Wentworth Falls Sanatoriums were initially separate however from 28 October 1947 the Board meetings for both sanatoriums were combined into one, with meetings covering issues pertaining to both the Thirlmere and Wentworth Falls homes.Both typed and handwritten minutes are contained within the volumes. The minutes list those present, the date and location of the meeting and any apologies from those not in attendance. Regular inclusions in the minutes are a monthly treasurer's report, progress reports on patients, an administrative report from the Matron, a listing of any gifts received, letters/ correspondence received are outlined and the daily average of beds occupied over the month is given.Please note this series begins on p.209 of the first volume. Up until this point the volume contains minutes related only to the Wentworth Falls Sanatorium and described in NRS 20153.
