LA County Public Works Infrastructure Projects

This dataset only contains the projects marked for display on the public internet. Integrating GIS feature classes with flat table data from other databases is a common goal. Previously, this was done using spatial views and DB links; however, the draw and query performance suffered. To work around performance bottlenecks, an ETL (extract-transform-load) process was chosen so that a single feature class is created. It means that the data is no longer live.
