资源简介:
Salt pans are the vast expanse of salts and various other minerals. The Great Rann of Kachchh, Shikarpur and Mitapur, from Gujarat, India, are considered to be large salt pans in the order mentioned, in Gujrat state of India. Among the sites Rann of Kachchh is a natural salt pan also referred to as salt desert, which is considered to be one of the largest salt deserts in the world. The salt pans are with extreme conditions of salinity and tremendous fluctuating temperature which serves as a home for diverse halophiles. From 3 sites mentioned above, Sediment samples were collected. Every sample replicate was introduced in the enriched media with salinity 250 ppt to mimic the extreme salt conditions and temperature was provided by incubation. DNA was isolated and sequenced for the region V3-V4 after and prior to enrichment of the sample collected (flora).
