资源简介:
This project, The Concentric Pattern of the Western Pacific–Indo-Pacific Ring: Structural Analysis of Global Security Nodes Based on Spatially Heterogeneous Knowledge Graphs, constructs and applies a spatially heterogeneous knowledge graph to decode contemporary security architectures in the Western Pacific–Indo-Pacific region. The dataset integrates multi-source textual materials (policy documents, strategic reports, academic analyses) with georeferenced entities such as maritime zones, chokepoints, and state actors, and encodes them as nodes, edges, and spatial attributes within a loss-minimising graph schema. By overlaying spatial nodes (e.g., South China Sea, Taiwan Strait, Western Pacific arcs) with relational edges capturing military operations, strategic deployments, crisis episodes, and legal-interpretive narratives, the model reveals a concentric, ring-like pattern of “security density” and identifies key crisis-threshold and friction-absorbing nodes. The Dataverse package includes the core graph files, variable and ontology documentation, and reproducible workflows for spatial–relational analysis, enabling researchers to extend, re-weight, or repurpose the graph for studies of Indo-Pacific security, maritime strategy, or comparative regional architectures.
