资源简介:
This project examines the transcriptomic response of the non model marine diatom Skeletonema dohrnii under environmental conditions simulating future climate change. Cultures were maintained under two temperatures (21 C and 25 C) and two pCO2 levels (400 ppm and 1000 ppm) to mimic ocean warming and acidification. De novo transcriptomic sequencing was performed to characterize differential gene expression patterns and uncover metabolic reprogramming strategies in this non model diatom. The study was carried out to understand how S. dohrnii reallocates energy, regulates photosynthetic processes, and adjusts carbon dioxide concentrating mechanisms (CCMs) to reduce metabolic costs and support acclimation. The resulting dataset will provide valuable molecular resources for diatom biology and contribute to understanding adaptive responses of non model organisms under climate change stressors.
