Metagenomics studies of Argemone mexicana's root samples. Root metagenomics of Argemone mexicana

This study was carried out to validate the role of fungal endophytes in the production of secondary metabolites in plants. As Argemone mexicana is a traditional medicinal which is used in many diseases. In previous studies (collaborated work), it was found that samples of one place, produced high acaricidal properties as compared to other place samples. In this study, we found difference in fungal endophyte's relative abundance and occurrence on phylum to species level.
