The Katrina Impact Assessment project was developed after Hurricane Katrina caused significant damage in South Mississippi in late August, 2005. The data layers and aerial imagery included in this project were made available via ESRI's ArcIMS interactive mapping applications and distributed on DVD media for reference and to assist with evaluations of the storm's effects on the people, the commercial entities, and the natural environment in the local area. This dataset covers Harrison County, Mississippi.
