National Base Land Parcels (May 2025)

National Base Land Parcels (Land Parcels) are a spatial representation of land parcels defined and maintained by the state and territory governments of Australia. It combines the complex representations unique to each jurisdiction into a consistent, seamless view of Australia's land parcels. <br>Australian land parcels represent the smallest legal area of land that can be sold without needing approval to subdivide. These parcels can be referenced by a land title through the relevant state or territory land registry, which offers links to jurisdictional information such as:- certificate of title or Crown lease  - valuation information - land descriptions. <br>The National Base Land Parcels dataset is available to Commonwealth Government users of the Digital Atlas of Australia.
