COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF RADIOLOGICAL DIAGNOSTIC METHODS IN HIP JOINT PATHOLOGIES
收藏资源简介:
Abstract: Comparative assessment of the possibilities of radiography, ultrasound (UTT), computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in determining hip joint pathologies according to clinical scenarios, as well as the formation of a step-by-step imaging algorithm. Materials and methods. This work is not a clinical study, but an analytical review prepared based on existing scientific literature and recommendations from the American College of Radiology (ACR). Results. X-ray diffraction is the primary method in most adult patients, revealing bone architecture and degenerative changes; Ultrasound is useful for joint fluid, bursa, tendon, and intervention navigation; CT characterizes complex fractures and the cortical bone; MRI is highly informative for bone marrow, cartilage, labrum, early osteonecrosis, and latent fractures. Conclusion. The choice of examination should be based on the duration of pain, injury, age, possible pathology, radiation load, and the effect of the result on treatment.
