The John Yeates Mann Guide to Records documents and contextualises the records of John Yeates Mann, a senior principal research scientist at the Aeronautical Research Laboratories. The collection documented by the Guide covers reports, brochures, articles and other source material used by Mann in writing the 50th anniversary history of the Aeronautical Research Laboratories (ARL). The collection consists of nine inventory items, mostly paper format files. The total collection occupies 34 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent).
The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the eScholarship Research Centre in November 2007. The records were transferred to the Australian Science Archives Project for processing in 1998 and work on the collection was continued by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre and later the eScholarship Research Centre.
The records are held by the State Library of Victoria (13553). The collection was listed by Gavan McCarthy and Barbara Cytowicz.
