SPECIFICITY OF TEACHING RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN MEDICAL UNIVERSITIES DURING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF STUDENTS

This article analyzes the role of the Russian Language course in developing medical students’ professional competencies. It examines aspects of communication safety, ethical and deontological norms, and the role of language as a diagnostic tool. Particular attention is paid to a review of the works of scholars studying medical linguistics. The importance of this topic stems from the shift in emphasis in modern medical practice toward a patient-centered approach. Within this paradigm, effective communication between physician and patient is becoming a key element of the therapeutic process. In the context of rapid digitalization and chronic time pressure, mastering the skills of precise, concise, and ethically impeccable oral communication is critical to preventing medical errors.
