AMT28 (JR18001) CTD profiles (pressure, temperature, salinity, potential temperature, density, fluorescence, transmittance, downwelling PAR, dissolved oxygen concentration) calibrated and binned to 1 dbar.

This dataset consists of 63 CTD profiles collected during the Atlantic Meridional Transect programme cruise 28 (AMT28 JR18001) between 23rd September 2018 and 29th October 2018. The cruise track between UK and Falkland Islands, via South Georgia, passed through both north and south Atlantic gyres. This dataset contributes to the AMT time-series of core oceanographic measurements along a north-south transect of the Atlantic Ocean. The profile down casts were processed on-board and binned to 1 dbar. Calibrations were applied to salinity and oxygen measurements as described in the post cruise report. Fluorescence has not been calibrated for this dataset. These data are available under the NERC Open Government Licence.
