This dataset contains hydrological data from the Khujand Hydrological Station in the middle reaches of the Syr Darya River. This station was jointly constructed by the Institute of Desert Meteorology, China Meteorological Administration (Urumqi), the Institute of Water Problems, Hydropower and Ecology, Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, and the Tajik Hydrometeorological Service. This dataset can be used for scientific research such as water resource assessment in Central Asian mountainous areas, as well as services for water conservancy projects. Data Period: November 2, 2019 to December 5, 2020. Data Acquisition Frequency of Flow Velocity and Water Level Observation Instrument: The sensor measures flow velocity and water level data every 5 seconds. 4. Hourly Average Flow Velocity Calculation: The hourly average flow velocity and water level data are calculated by averaging all flow velocity and water level data measured every 5 seconds within one hour. 5. Explanation of Zero Values in Water Level Data: The zero values in the water level data are caused by power supply insufficiency leading to sensor power outage and restart, with the first data after restart being 0, which results in zero hourly average values. Normal operation was restored after the power supply upgrade on December 5, 2019. 6. Note on Rainfall Data: Some rainfall data are missing, and there are abnormal data such as -8.191 mm, which should be excluded and explained. The data from April 10 to May 3 was missing and has been supplemented. Abnormal data similar to -8.191 mm have been marked.
