Trial Survival

Individual wild meerkats (coded with an identifier unique to each animal) were followed over time and repeatedly captured and sampled for disease. Social groups of meerkats were allocated to one of three treatments...either the dominants in a group were vaccinated, the subordinates were vaccinated, or no animals were vaccinated. The uploaded spreadsheets were used to carry out survival analysis looking at either survival time until all-cause mortality, or time until testing positive for TB for the first time. Each individual's time in the study is broken up into sections of time divided by capture events.
