"This dataset provides electromagnetic transient (EMT) simulation setups designed to support the development and validation of protection schemes under diverse operating conditions. The testbed includes a co-simulated transmission and distribution system model, incorporating both grid-following and grid-forming inverter models developed in accordance with WECC-approved standard library specifications. Voltage ride-through requirements are implemented based on IEEE 1547 and IEEE 2800 standards. In addition, representative protection schemes for both transmission and distribution systems are included. The dataset contains three example simulation cases that demonstrate its application for protection performance evaluation under varying inverter-based resource penetration levels and control strategies.
